Paul Tran is the Founder, CEO, and visionary behind MANSCAPED®. Born in Vietnam, Paul grew up with little, but carried a big outlook on life. As a first-generation immigrant in America who didn’t speak English, he faced adversity early on, yet looks back at his upbringing with gratitude. Coming from nothing instilled in Paul a relentless ambition to seize every opportunity and lead with empathy always.
A born
entrepreneur
One of Paul’s earliest memories from elementary school is hosting a raffle every Friday. The concept was simple, just a few nickels on the table, but it quickly became a weekly activity his classmates raved about and looked forward to. The popular game not only brought joy to others, but also revealed Paul’s innate entrepreneurial and creative spirit. Years later, that same drive carried him through college at the University of Southern California, where he put himself through school and laid the foundation for a career of entrepreneurship. He went on to parlay his education into a series of ventures, launching and selling multiple businesses along the way.

A novel vision
Paul launched MANSCAPED in 2016 to challenge conventions in men’s grooming. The brand first gained attention by addressing a long-ignored category: groin grooming, introducing premium, purpose-built products that broke taboos and redefined how men approach personal care. What started below the waist has since expanded into a global men’s grooming and lifestyle brand offering head-to-toe solutions across shaving, skincare, and hygiene. Today, MANSCAPED’s mission is to deliver the most innovative self-care solutions for men everywhere, empowering them to look good, feel good, and do good, while fostering confidence in every aspect of their lives.

As CEO, Paul’s responsibilities are many. He loves overseeing the brand’s innovation and technology, drawing on his own technical expertise, while guiding the company’s direction as a strategic visionary. At the helm of the MANSCAPED Family, he is dedicated to building an employer brand rooted in culture and people. Ensuring that everyone feels valued, included, and appreciated is central to his leadership. Recognized by Inc. A philanthropic future
When he finds a rare moment outside of MANSCAPED, Paul recharges by spending time with his wife and two children. His deep-rooted commitment to giving back and social responsibility are fundamentals he has brought to MANSCAPED, as well as beliefs he lives by.
One of his lifelong philanthropic goals is to establish a foundation to support orphans and underprivileged children in Vietnam – a full circle mission that will impact both his home country and countless lives along the way.
